I needed to sell my mother's house from out of state. He was referred to me by a Nebraska family relation who is also in the real estate business. The house needed a lot of work to get it ready for market if I wanted to sell it to someone who was going to live there - and get top dollar - as opposed to selling to an investor. The work included the removal of all contents, drapes, and carpet; painting of all walls and ceiling (including some minor drywall repair), installation of new carpet, replacement of two windows, and a ceiling light fixture. Dwight contacted every contractor for the work he recommended and supervised/inspected the finished product at every step of the process on my behalf (I had no clue because I don't live there). He even did some of the minor stuff himself. All I had to do was sign off on the proposed estimate then pay for the completed work. I trusted Dwight. That made it easy for me to trust any respective company he referred to make these vital improvements to get the house "move in ready" and not get cheated with incomplete or shoddy workmanship. It could not have been any easier. Dwight and his wife Andi were very responsive to any phone calls, texts, or emails if I had a question or concern. He worked tirelessly to get the house on the market as soon as possible and went out of his way to ensure I had a complete understanding of every aspect of the process. The house was listed for sale on a Friday. After a weekend of multiple showings, it was under contract the following Tuesday - above original asking price. If you live in the Denver area and wish to sell your house for as much as possible, do the following: Contract Dwight and Andi to sell your house; make any improvements that he may recommend; then relax. The buying or selling of a home is the largest financial transaction most people ever make. Because I was out of state, I was worried about being ripped off. Fortunately, my fear was unfounded. I initially trusted Dwight because of his referral to me. I hope this review serves as evidence that you can trust him too.
